Privacy Policy

1. What Data We Collect

auto-sop analyzes session turn metadata from your Claude Code conversations — tool calls, error messages, and corrections. We never read, upload, store, or transmit your source code. Raw conversation captures are processed locally on your machine; only aggregated pattern summaries and directive metadata are synced to the cloud (Pro plan).

When you create an account we collect your email address, name, and authentication identifiers provided by our auth provider. We also collect basic usage analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product.

2. How Data Is Stored

Cloud data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest enabled. All data is transmitted over TLS. Database backups are encrypted and retained for disaster recovery. Your local captures remain on your filesystem and are never transmitted unless you explicitly enable cloud sync on a Pro plan.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate auto-sop:

  • Clerk — Authentication and account management
  • Stripe — Payment processing for Pro subscriptions
  • Resend — Transactional emails (account verification, receipts)
  • Vercel — Website and dashboard hosting
  • Google Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics (when enabled)

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Dashboard → Settings. When you delete your account, all associated data — projects, directives, and usage statistics — is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Local data on your machine is not affected by account deletion; you can remove it by uninstalling auto-sop.

5. Cookies

auto-sop uses session cookies managed by Clerk for authentication. These cookies are essential for the dashboard to function and cannot be disabled. We may also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) that can be blocked by your browser or ad-blocker without affecting functionality.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, as well as the right to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
